Made from local ingredients sourced in the Tamil Nadu region, this incense has a mellow, creamy floral fragrance. Sensual sandalwood blends with delicate, joyful champaca, creating a beautiful harmony of sweet floral and earthy woody notes.
This incense is crafted in the holy town of Tiruvannamalai, at the foot of the sacred Arunachala mountain, where the renowned Advaita sage Sri Ramana Maharshi spent most of his life after attaining enlightenment at the age of 16.
In July 1896, while living in Madurai, he experienced a sudden and intense fear of death. By surrendering completely to this feeling and deeply contemplating the nature of death, he realized his true immortal Self.
Each pack contains 15 grams of hand-crafted premium Masala incense. Average burn time: 40–45 minutes per stick. Made with precious natural resins, pure essential oils and fine absolutes.
All our incense is sold by weight (15g) rather than stick count. Because of this, the number of sticks in each pack may vary.
